Katelyn and Brett’s love story blossomed from the stages of high school musicals to the grandeur of The Edgewater in Madison, Wisconsin. From the initial consultation to the final send-off, we had the honor of guiding Katelyn and Brett on their journey to “I do” at The Edgewater. Collaborating closely with them from beginning to end, we embraced their vision and brought it to life with meticulous attention to detail.
As talented performers and musicians who first met amidst the drama and melodies of high school theater, it’s no surprise that their wedding day featured so much live music from so many special people in their lives, starting with the live choir for their ceremony, to the jazz band for their cocktail hour, and the live band for their reception.
From the moment guests arrived at The Edgewater, they knew they were in for a treat. The venue, with its stunning views of the waterfront and elegant interiors, set the stage for a classy and unforgettable celebration.
As Katelyn walked down the aisle, the sun cast a warm glow over the outdoor ceremony space, creating a picture-perfect moment. Brett, looking dapper in his navy suit, couldn’t take his eyes off his bride as she made her entrance.
As guests mingled during cocktail hour, enjoying delicious appetizers and refreshing drinks, the couple stole a quiet moment together to savor the joy of becoming husband and wife.
The reception was a true celebration of love, laughter, and music. The dance floor was never empty, thanks to the talented Bluewater Kings Band, who kept everyone on their feet all night long.
After exchanging heartfelt vows, the newlyweds delighted everyone with a surprise musical performance. Their rendition of “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” was so beautiful and romantic!
And let’s not forget about the desserts—fun, just like Katelyn and Brett, they opted for gelato from Fun Factory Sweets, which was the perfect sweet ending to a perfect day.
As the evening came to a close, Katelyn and Brett shared one last dance surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was a moment they would cherish forever.
