Kylee and Danny met, started dating, and got engaged on New Year’s Eve, so it only made sense for them to get married on New Year’s Eve as well! Little did any of us know just what the year had for us…
What began as a larger celebration of 150 people in a beautiful, neutral venue near Madison ended up in the most intimate microwedding with just them, their officiant, and their parents at the Vintage Brewing Company. Kylee and Danny really did experience the full scale of trying to plan in a pandemic, especially when the county restrictions went down from ten to ZERO and we scrambled to find them a new venue to host their wedding day. At some point in the planning process, we even considered marrying them outside in the dead of winter, but we were quite relieved that we were able to find a venue outside of Dane County and get Kylee and Danny married – finally!
Kylee and I became the best of friends through this planning experience, and it was a very sad day to no longer get to work with her as closely as we have been, but I think it’s safe to say that planning 5-6 iterations of one wedding is exhausting, haha! I am so happy they decided to stick with it and end the year 2020 in absolute bliss and start their new journey together as HUSBAND AND WIFE!
Kylee’s uncle Keith officiated the wedding and we all heard the most beautiful, heartfelt vows I’ve ever heard. There was NOT a dry eye in the room! It is so evident that their love for each other will stand the test of time through pandemics, difficulties, and of course, many, many times of joy and thriving.
We love you Kylee and Danny, and have to say, the wedding was absolutely perfect! I’ll remember this day for a long time and I feel so special getting to be one of the 10 people who got to be there for you on your wedding day!
