This summer, we had the opportunity to celebrate Max and Marissa’s wedding at LaRocque Farms, just outside of Lake Geneva (one of our favorite areas in Wisconsin). It was our first time at this venue, and it’s safe to say we were blown away by the property. Surrounded by wildflowers, a peaceful pond, and a beautiful garden, the sailcloth tent created a perfect setting for Max and Marissa’s day.
Before the festivities began, Max and Marissa shared one of the most special moments of the day: a quiet coffee date and private exchange of vows. This intimate time allowed them to reflect on the day ahead and added a meaningful start to the wedding festivities.
The weather couldn’t have been more ideal – a sunny summer day that highlighted the natural beauty of the property. Max and Marissa chose a vibrant garden wedding theme with a color palette of bright pinks, purples, and greens that brought their vision to life.
Every detail of their wedding reflected their style and and personality, all while creating the garden party theme. Guests enjoyed the charm of pink vintage china, the cutest outdoor cocktail hour, fresh cheese curds, and so much more. To drive home the garden atmosphere, parasols and fans were provided, adding a thoughtful and practical element to the outdoor celebration. The bridesmaids wore mismatched pastel dresses, adding a soft and playful touch to the overall look. Once the ceremony floral was set, the butterflies couldn’t help but land and dance around the flowers – it was a real garden dream!
One of the most memorable features of the day was the incredible wood-fired pizza served fresh from the oven. This delicious touch perfectly complemented the backyard, garden-inspired atmosphere, adding a relaxed yet elegant feel to the celebration.
Max and Marissa’s day was nothing short of a whimsical outdoor celebration to remember. From the vibrant garden details to the relaxed ambiance of the venue, the day came together seamlessly.
