Some love stories unfold in the most unexpected places, and for Allyce and James, it all started on New Year’s Eve 2021. Though they grew up in the same hometown, their paths never crossed until that fateful night.
Fast forward to June 2023, when James planned a spontaneous proposal, setting the stage for their dream wedding at Bishops Bay Country Club.
The Vision: Elegant, Timeless, and Minimalist
When Allyce and James envisioned their wedding, they wanted something classic and elevated, where the beauty of the venue could speak for itself.
And of course, we need to take a moment for Allyce’s DRESS! The ruffles on her sleeves are so gorgeous. With her bridesmaids mismatched Spring and floral patterns, she is just a vision herself!
With its picturesque lakeside views, Bishops Bay Country Club provides some of the best views that the Madison area has to offer with the lake, lush greenery, and gorgeous clear tent that complemented Allyce and James’ refined aesthetic effortlessly.
Their design leaned into modern minimalism, with a neutral black, white, gold color palette accented by soft greens. Their goal? A seamless, stress-free day filled with stunning florals, amazing photos, and a perfect flow of events.

As their wedding planner, we at were honored to bring Allyce and James’ vision to life, ensuring that every detail felt cohesive and stress-free.
Allyce and James prioritized an elevated dining experience, entrusting Bishops Bay Country Club to deliver a flawless menu. To enhance the atmosphere, they opted for lush floral arrangements by Busy Bee Florals, ensuring the reception and ceremony felt fresh, inviting, and undeniably romantic.
A Celebration to Remember
From the elegant ceremony setup to the carefully curated music selection by live musician Tim Schroeder, the night was a perfect blend of sophistication and fun (as shown by the fun shots during dancing!).
With stunning photography captured by Ali Lockery, the love and joy of the day were beautifully preserved, ensuring Allyce and James could relive every special moment for years to come.
