We all know that wedding planning in itself is stressful, but 2020 also brought along with it an unprecedented pandemic.
Fortunately for us, Tom & Mariana were flexible and willing to make all the changes work. Working through all the contract adjustments, location changes, and attendance counts was a joy with a couple who was focused on getting married to each other. And at the end of the day, isn’t that what it’s all about? With COVID-19 and this being their FOURTH wedding iteration, it was high time to do the dang thing.
They decided to move forward with a simple, elegant wedding surrounded by their family and closest friends. Switching venues from The Madison Club to Tom’s parent’s backyard was not an option we thought we would need, but it worked perfectly for the simple elegance they were going for. The florals fit perfectly with the green space all around and rented tables, chairs, linens, and a tent really gave the backyard the simple elegance needed to make the space into a wedding location.
On the wedding day, Tom & Mariana were blessed with most beautiful July weather. We could not have asked for a better day!
To say we were honored to be a part of this special July day would be an understatement. We are so thankful Tom and Mariana stuck it out with us through all the things COVID threw at us and with such grace and kindness too! T & M – you are some of the kindest people and we were so excited to play a part in the start of the rest of your lives. We hope it is filled with more travel and love than you could have ever hoped or imagined!
